Recently, Tjerk graduated from the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Mechanical Engineering while completing his research at QING. He successfully finished his project and is eager to share his experiences:
"At QING, I had the opportunity to design a system that analyzes food products for quality and removes rejected products from the system. This design ensures that rejected products are properly removed without damaging other products. With this system, QING improves the accuracy of quality controls compared to manual inspections. In addition, I developed a CTO (Configure To Order) application, which allows the creation of various configurations based on customer requirements using existing building blocks.
From the very start of my graduation period, I felt welcome and at ease. I could approach anyone with questions or feedback without feeling there was any division between interns and employees. This supportive environment enabled me to achieve the desired results despite the challenging nature of my graduation project."
